Product Description
Disc dryer can heat not only by the shell but also by the internal rotor, greatly increasing the drying area, improving the thermal efficiency and ensuring the complete drying of materials. The dryer is composed of a horizontal shell and a heating rotor, several heating discs are mounted on the rotor and the disc is provided with a stocker with an adjustable angle, which can heat the materials and push the materials to the discharge end while working. The steam distribution device in the spindle can make the steam evenly distributed to each disc. Steam flows within the disc, making the heating disc keep a constant temperature. The condensate will be discharged through a special device at the end of the spindle.This equipment is characterized by high drying efficiency, long service life and low maintenance frequency and finds extensive applications in drying the matenals with high moisture content and high viscosity such as municipal sludee, industrial sludge, animal protein, plant protein, food, chemical industry and pesticide. According to different properties of materials, the dise dryer can be constructed of carbon steel, stainless steel.
Inside the dryer the double-walled discs are sitting on a central tube which are heated by steam from the inside. The product is continuously circulated in the rotating disk bundle, and shovels fixed at the circumference transport the product axially through the disc bundle dryers. Scrapers that are fixed between the discs ensure thorough mixing of the product and also prevent product from sticking to the discs. Indirect heating allows a gentle and environmentally friendly drying process.
